- Do you support ASP and ASP.NET hosting?

Yes. We now offer ASP hosting as a separate web package.
You can opt for a Microsoft Windows server webspace supporting ASP instead of our standard linux based webspaces that support PHP.

- How will I know if my website will be compatible with your webspaces?

We have 2 kinds of webspace available:linux based and windows based.
Our £24 linux webspaces are compatible with dreamweaver and thousands of other programs.
You should be able to use any scripts that are based on HTML, PHP, CGI scripts, Perl, MySQL, SSI. This includes Java, Flash, Javascript, etc.
Also Frontpage 2002 and previous versions.
Our windows webspaces support ASP, ASP.net, Frontpage 2003, Access databases and SSI.
- Do you impose a bandwidth limit?

Currently we limit bandwidth indirectly by restricting the CPU usage of your website.
This is set to 126mhz.
- Are there any restrictions on database use?
|
Yes. We restrict usage to 5 simultaneous connections.
- Do you support streaming?
|
No, we don't support streaming from our websites.

- How do I upload to my website?
|
You upload using ftp, unless you are using Frontpage.
You will find your ftp addresses in your Members Area.

Product Related Questions - Can I increase the size of the webspace?

Yes, providing it is for a top level domain, you can increase the webspace quota by purchasing more webspace online when you need it. We start at 200Mb.
- Can I increase the size of the database?
|
Yes. Providing it is for a top level domain, you can purchase more database space from the Members Area, in the Database section.

- Where are your webservers located?

Our webservers are based in Telehouse, London.
This provides not only a secure location for the servers but also maximises your websites speed
as this links directly to the Linx as well as our own network.
- Do you sell webspace only?
|
Currently we only sell webspace together with domain hosting. If you already have a domain that means you have to transfer your domain to us.
Payment and Contract Terms - Where are your hosting terms and conditions displayed?

- How do I cancel my webhosting service?
|
You can cancel your webspace from the billing section of your Members Area.
Cancelling online stops your service being renewed. If you have just paid a renewal and want to cancel and the hosting year it relates to has not yet started it is not too late to cancel and get a refund.
- Are there any hidden charges?
|
No. All hosting services are paid annually in advance. You will find a full record of all payments you have made in your Members Area.
