How To Send Email Using SMTP Authentication While Connected To Another ISP

Step 1: Double click the Outlook Express icon on your desktop or launch it from the programs menu option.

Step 2: Click the tools menu option and click accounts.

Step 3: Click on the mail tab and then click on the email account you wish to change. Click on properties.

Step 4: Click on the server tab. The following screen should appear.


Select the my server requires authentication option and then click on the settings button.

Step 5: Select the use same settings as my incoming mail server option. Click Ok.

Step 6: Click on the advanced tab. Select the this server requires a secure connection (SSL) option. Click Ok then click on close. You can now send email.
